When I put this lace tippet/cape on my dress form, my husband started humming the Adams Family Theme and asked me if I finally decided to show my Gothic side in public… Ah, that’s why I love him so much!
I made this cape for a friend who is invited to 6 weddings this year and has promised to advertise my products on those occasions. This cape is perfect for a summer wedding: fine and light-weight you can wear it to church without hiding too much of your nice summer dress, but still making sure you are dressed suitably for the service.
The cape is worked in a simple V-pattern, with a fine blend of Merino and silk (70% Merino, 30% silk) by Lana Grossa.

And the finished cape:
I already had my friend try it on (she kept it, so it is gone), it looked really cute. Maybe I will consider integrating this cape into my collection in my store…
And did you know: when you have an item made with wool and you don’t want it to be scratchy, put it into a plastic bag and put it into your freezer for about 24 hours. Repeat from time to time, if necessary. No more scratchy wool clothing anymore!
