This week’s project is not very exciting: it is a simple hat in gray and black which I made for my husband. I used yarn I had left over from different projects, thick yarn because thick yarn means the project will be done in almost no time. I used a crochet hook size 6 with yarn from Schachenmayr (Boston).
I did not use a pattern for the hat: I simply started with a “magical” ring (a crochet ring which you can pull tight after you finished your first round) and then did crochet in the round. I increased steadily until the hat fitted my husband’s head the continued. When the hat was long enough I decreased a couple of stitches over the last three rounds to shape the hat. That’s it The entire thing took me about 1,5 hours.
